Shamita Siva
Hey!
You. Yes you.
I've been in your shoes. Scrambling for a reader because your other actor friends are too busy, and your housemate/ partner is well meaning, but has the emotional feedback of a box of dry cereal.
I'm here to help!
Aside from being an actor, I'm a specialised movement director and versatile with accents. I love comedy but I equally love diving headfirst into gritty drama.
I've directed three theatre shows on home soil in Australia, and movement directed for countless other plays and music videos.
Rest assured, I'll not only read for you but if you request assistance with directorial offers I'm happy to be of service. I've trained in various techniques and believe in pulling whats useful from each methodology- including Meisner and Chubbuck, and a whole lot of other physical theatre exercises to free the body!
