Tina was born to Vietnamese immigrants in Prince Rupert, British Columbia, Canada. She took a break from modeling and acting to focus on a profession as an athlete in Mixed Martial Arts. She is an active fighter. Due to an injury in 2023, she has returned to her studies in acting. She remains grounded and diligently studying Ivana Chubbuck's acting technique on top of her athletic regimen.
