Tim Renkow

Tim is a talented stand-up comedian, writer and actor.

Born in Mexico and raised in North Carolina, Tim moved to London from the United States at the age of 22 to study creative writing and promptly started performing stand-up comedy, through which he found a platform to display his thoughts on the world. His critically-acclaimed one man shows, AT LEAST HELL HAS RAMPS and KIM JONG-UN, MUHAMMAD, JESUS AND OTHER POWER HUNGRY MANIACS, earned him the Leicester Square Best Newcomer Award, The Amused Moose Comedy Award and a Chortle Best Newcomer nomination

Tim co-wrote and starred in his own BBC narrative comedy series JERK which was released on BBC Three in April 2019 and was subsequently aired on BBC One. The series received critical acclaim; "Tim Renkow has created a Larry David for a new generation – 4 stars, The Guardian", and afforded Tim the nominated for Breakthrough Act in the 2020 RTS Awards. JERK has been commissioned for a second series which Tim is currently co-writing with Shaun Pye and is due to shoot later this year.

Tim is also known for his role in Viceland/Comedy Central hit comedy series BOBBY AND HARRIET GET MARRIED.
