Spencer Paez

I’m a character actor. For me, the transformation is essential. I love the work of exploring what the writer’s created, following what the director’s envisioned, and alchemizing what the production’s designed to animate something entirely new and alive.

My curiosity drives me to read, research, sing, dance, photograph, travel, and observe so I’m always taking in life through many channels. I’ve been fortunate to live in many places, study at Duke University, perform for world leaders, and see into the lives of people from all walks of life. I’ve held jobs from landscaping to analysis for a top-tier consulting firm. My family has the unlikeliest background. And like Pablo Picasso, I believe retaining a childlike heart is paramount.

My teachers have worked with Oscar, Emmy, and Grammy winners. My dog smells like corn chips. And I love when casting or a director gives me an adjustment.
