Scarling Ferrera Mejia

Scarling is a Dominican actress based in Boston, Massachusetts. For as long as they can remember, Scarling has always been one for the dramatics. As a young kid, her mom saw something in he but couldn’t quite picture what it was. As any mother would, she made Scarling explore different areas such as swimming lessons, gymnastics, modeling. It was when Scarling began theatre, that they both found the spark of love pouring from Scarling.

As a person and an artist, Scarling is interested in bringing awareness to social issues and appreciation to other cultures. Living in Dominican Republic surrounded by her culture and history has always been a pleasure for her, These roots of her, it's something she would love to share in her own craft. She believes Acting as a beautiful art to tell one’s history, culture and heritage. To live her life using her art and writing to speak out and to bring a platform of conversation to such topics is the ultimate pleasure as an artist that she can have.
