Hazel Young is a British actor working in Film, TV and Theatre. She is soon to appear in HAMLET in the WEST END as OPHELIA. View more about this production via HAMLET2020.com (now postponed until December 2020).

Hazel is highly professional and exceptionally talented. She trained at Rose Bruford College of Theatre and Performance for two years and in the immensely difficult field of screen combat at the widely renowned British Action Academy.

Hazel had her first professional role with director James Crow on the set of 'House of Salem', a British horror film nominated for best new director at 'FrightFest' 2016. Hazel was spotted on set by her manager and agent Sandy Mac, Sandy instantly recognised a true talent.

COMBAT EXPERIENCE
Hazel has studied at the top institutes in the U.K. for combat skills in performance. During her training she has covered an assortment of weaponry, fight styles and vocals to accompany the standard and advanced techniques required for stage and screen. These include:

- Cutlass / Rapier
- Knife fighting
- Hand-to-hand combat
- Death and dying techniques
- Double ended spear (with and without shield)
