Pauline O Driscoll

Although a native of Cork, Ireland, Pauline trained & spent much of her career in the UK and USA. Best known as rural matriarch Mary, opposite Pat Shortt in TV3’s IFTA nominated drama series SMALLTOWN. Recent TV/ Film credits include Miriam in MUSTARD (Storyland/RTE) , Mary in SISTERS (Sare & Suze Prods/RTE, school Principal in DUBLIN CRUST (Surelook Prods) , Maureen opposite Moe Dunford & Rosaleen Linehan in Alfonso Films's PAT, the Hospital Consultant who tries to talk some sense into THE YOUNG OFFENDERS, Joan in Smithard Production's BUSMAN'S HOLIDAY (Amazon Prime) and Detective Inspector Delahunt in the soon to be released, gritty crime drama feature film DREDGES. Her most recent theatre work includes solo play HOME RULES/EXTRAORDINARY ORDINARY WOMEN; her “excellent performance as the droll depressive daughter” (Marjorie Brennan, Irish Examiner) in Gaitkrash Theatre Co's COSY at Cork Midsummer Festival and solo play SEVEN AGES OF MAM which she performs and co -wrote is touring currently having garnered rave “Must See - reviews and a nomination for BEST NEW PLAY at Brighton Fringe Festival 2019.
