Noémi Fabian
I have an extensive acting background and started directing 10 years ago. I founded and ran the only Scene Study class in Stockholm for three terms before moving to the UK, where I restarted it. Having worked with actors both as a performer and director, I know exactly what it takes to bring a scene to life and ask the right questions to help you find the right tone.
I’m great at cold reading, so you can trust me to be present and responsive. And if you’d like feedback, I can offer clear, practical notes to help you sharpen your performance. My goal is to make sure you feel confident, prepared, and ready to deliver your best audition.
Let’s book that job together!
I'm fluent in English (American), Swedish, and Hungarian.
Noémi Fabian is a Hungarian bread, Swedish born, UK based film and theater nerd. But that, people, is only the tip of the iceberg... Since she started working in the industry, 10 years ago, she has been moving back and forth through the titles of actor, director, acting instructor, comic, editor and podcaster. That may seem like a lot, but she's not one for sitting around hoping for the best; she's always working away at new projects. However, her biggest passion lies in acting.
She studied at Vancouver Acting School where she studied under teachers such as Johannah Newmarch, Alex Zahara, Alan Marriott, Geoff Gustafson, stunt actor Rochelle Okoye and many more, but got serious during her time in the Theater Conservatory program with teachers Anthony Shim and Adrian Petriw. After VAS she continued her studies with Anthony Shim in his Scene Study class.
Back in Stockholm, Sweden, she continued her studies with some minor courses at Kulturama before landing at the Actors Studio Stockholm with her teachers Joakim Nätterqvist and JD Glickman. After her year there she started her own scene study under the name of STHLM Scene Study where she instructed for three semesters.
She's been in film, TV, plays, and commercials. Nine Behind, directed by Sophy Romvari, was an official selection at the Vancouver International Film Festival where both Romvari and Fabian got rave reviews.
