Natalie Dix
I have just gradated with my BA (Hons) in Acting from The Lir, Ireland's National Academy of Dramatic Art at Trinity College Dublin (partner school of RADA). My native accent is General American but I have an excellent ear for dialects if you require anything specific. I have extensive experience on stage working with directors such as Joe Dowling and Caitríona McLaughlin as well as training and experience on-camera. Before the Lir, I spent a year and a half at Northwestern University studying with Linda Gates and Steppenwolf ensemble member Sandra Marquez.
Besides serving as a reader, I am also happy to chat about the drama school audition process and going to drama school overseas.

I have just gradated with my BA (Hons) in Acting from The Lir, Ireland's National Academy of Dramatic Art at Trinity College Dublin (partner school of RADA), where I got to work with directors such as Joe Dowling and Caitríona McLaughlin. Before the Lir, I spent a year and a half at Northwestern University studying with Linda Gates and Steppenwolf ensemble member Sandra Marquez. I am also a proud alum of the 2014 NHSI "Cherubs" program in Theatre Arts at Northwestern.
Accents/dialects are one of my strongest (and favorite) skills, my native being General American (although I consider myself bidialectal if you count a strong New Jersey accent!). I have extensive experience with various Irish accents as well as a strong RP and most recently performed in a Ukrainian accent. A full list of my dialects is available upon request.
Besides acting, I study classical singing and in my free time, I enjoy writing poetry and personal essays, learning languages, and accompanying myself on my Appalachian dulcimer, Sally.
Currently in Greensboro, NC, I can also work locally in Dublin, New York, and Chicago, and am willing to travel and relocate. I have a valid drivers license and US passport.
