Mel Gallo
Hello! My name is Mel, and I am an actor, voice over, and writer in NYC. I have studied under several coaches and teachers throughout the years, in addition to countless workshops with casting directors through Actors Connection and One on One NYC. Because I have taken so many workshops, I feel I am particularly helpful with offering insight to what makes a great self tape!
I am an excellent sight reader, and I am particularly good with fast paced material (or increasing the pace, a common note among self tape auditions). I love the creative process and can offer advice if needed (but only if you ask. I never overstep my boundaries)! I have great comedic timing, but I can also be your edgy/dark/sarcastic enemy.

Mel Gallo is an American Film and Television Actor / Voice Over / Writer in NYC. She has studied with Bronwen Carson (T. Schreiber Studio), Christine Campbell (The Barrow Group), Upright Citizens Brigade Improv, PDR Voice Over, and countless workshops with casting directors through Actors Connection and One on One NYC.
Mel has been featured in numerous short films and web series, which have appeared in several festivals around the USA. Most recently, Mel played a demon in 'Greet Your Demons' written and directed by Joe Leone, which will soon begin circling the independent horror festivals circuit 2022.
In addition, Mel is also trained in dance (contemporary modern, ballet, jazz, tap) and is a personal trainer. Her passion for fitness and movement continue to help others, as well as herself (physically, mentally, and most importantly, spiritually).
