A sarcastic and proud Montana native, Meagan creates both in front of the camera and behind the scenes. She can be seen in films such as Jason Reitman's Oscar-nominated "Up in the Air" and the UpTV feature "12 Days of Giving". She also recently shot roles on the series comedies "Play by Play" and "Embeds". Her voiceover talents have been heard for clients such as Wendy's, Blue Cross Blue Shield, March of Dimes, Anheuser Busch and Hill's Pet Food.
As a producer, she is a two-time Mid-America Regional Emmy award-winner and the proud owner of Smart Mouth Productions. Her first Emmy was awarded for "The UnReal HouseWives of Kansas City" an inventive parody web series she envisioned, created and produced. Smart Mouth is the company behind the hilarious web series "The Wingman", and short films of every genre including the award-winners "Tipping Point", "The Etiquette of Impotence", and "Masterpiece".
Smart Mouth's shorts have screened at prestigious festivals around the country including the Citizen Jane, WIFTI Film Showcase, SAG-AFTRA NYC Showcase, Kansas City Film Festival, Omaha Film Festival, and others. Smart Mouth productions have been seen on platforms such as Amazon Prime, iTunes, Indieflix, the Faith Network, WhoHaHa, the Pentagon Channel and others.
SMART MOUTH is in post-production on the horror feature film "THEY WAIT IN THE DARK". Starring Sarah McGuire, Laurie Winkel and the exciting new talents of Paige Marie and Patrick McGee, Dark looks to be released in early 2022.
Smart Mouth previously assisted RappStarr Entertainment in producing the family feature film "Belong to Us" starring Ryan O'Nan of QUEEN OF THE SOUTH and Joseph Anderson of YOUNG ROCK. "BELONG TO US" was acquired by a Archstone Distribution and is currently available in Walmarts across the country and streaming on various online and television platforms.
Meagan was also the writer and a producer of Sav Rodger's Slamdance premiering short film, Sketches. She continues to assist in production on films throughout the MidWest and is always searching for new and exciting projects. Smart Mouth has also expanded into corporate and commercial video production lending their creative sensibilities to this side of the industry.
