Madalyn St. John was born and raised in Philadelphia, where she started her professional theatre career in 2011. In recent years, she has branched out to more on-screen pursuits, including a co-star opposite Sally Field on Jason Segel's Dispatches from Elsewhere (AMC), and an award-winning short movie musical, Repetition Rhapsody, which she wrote, directed and produced, and which has been screened at festivals locally and internationally. She has studied voice, Meisner, stage combat (small sword, unarmed) and long-form improv (Upright Citizens Brigade NYC).
