Lauren Landman

Hi there! My name is Lauren, and I'm an New York City-based actress and singer. As your reader, my goal is to help you feel empowered and confident, serving not only your scene partner but your biggest cheerleader.

I feel comfortable working on both contemporary and classical text, and also have a musical theatre background. In addition to reading with you, I'm also eager to listen if you'd like to test out any new monologues or songs.

If you'd like to schedule a specific time to work together, feel free to contact me on IG (@laurenlandman).

Please don't hesitate to get in touch if you'd like to work together - I'm excited to meet you!

Lauren started acting at the age of six, when a school music teacher advised her to audition for a regional production of Annie. Though originally deemed too young for the show, her persistent nature convinced producers to hear her rendition of “Tomorrow”, earning her both the role of “Molly” and a passion for performing.

To date, some of Lauren's favorite roles include Anne in "My Heart in a Suitcase "(National Tour), Rosaline in "Love's Labor's Lost", Kate in "The Wild Party", Hodel in "Fiddler on the Roof", Sandy in "Grease", Chris in "Carrie: The Musical", Rosamund Plinth in "The Violet Hour", Mona Kent in "Dames At Sea", and Margot Frank in "The Diary of Anne Frank" (BroadwayWorld Award Nominee for "Best Supporting Actress").

Lauren holds a B.A. from Kalamazoo College, where she double majored in Theatre and Psychology and minored in Music. During her time in Kalamazoo, she received the the Lillian Pringle Baldauf Award in Music (twice!), the Irmgard Kowatzki Theatre Award, and the Enlightened Leadership Award for Creative Expression in Music. While at the College, she performed multiple times with the Festival Playhouse of Kalamazoo ; her portrayals of Daphna in Bad Jews and Juliet in Good Night Desdemona (Good Morning Juliet) earned her nominations for the Irene Ryan Scholarship Competition at Region III of the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival.

She has also trained at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting, the Stratford Shakespeare School, and Interlochen Center for the Arts.

Lauren is currently appearing as Blanche Barrow in "Bonnie & Clyde" with Thumbcoast Live Theaters. She is based in New York City, with local housing available in Chicago and Metro Detroit, and is eagerly looking forward to her next adventure!
