I'm Laura, an Australian actor based in Melbourne, repped in Sydney & Los Angeles.
I'm a graduate of the prestigious Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) 3 year acting degree. Trained in various acting techniques, and improv.
Professional AU studio TV credits include a two-year recurring guest tenure on NEIGHBOURS (Eleven), and guests roles on JACK IRISH (ABC), WINNERS & LOSERS (Network 7), and IT'S A DATE (ABC).
Commercially, I've booked national campaigns in Australia and internationally for APPLE, VIRGIN, EVA Airlines, TOYOTA, NISSAN, TARGET, MCDONALDS, and more.
Short film credits include The Dinner (Berlin Int. Fashion Festival), Antwood, Dreamhouse (Jewish Int. Film Festival), Natalie's Story (New York Festivals Bronze award 2019). I also played the lead in the 2014 AFI/AACTA Social Shorts award nominated film, Falling.
I'm a comfortable reader and have worked as a freelance casting assistant in commercials, as well as regular reading work for top casting houses for film and TV here in Australia.
Confident in a UK, RP, standard US accent, and my natural accent is Australian...if that's what you're after!
