My name is Joshua Jay I'm 24 years old from London(Fluent in Portuguese and Spanish), I have been acting for around 7 years and during this time have done a lot of theatre work (plays) and also some TV and commercial work. I would love to help anyone who is in need of a reader , I know how hard it may be to do self tapes so I'm willing to help and also give the reading part a bit of character to help with your performance. I can give my own personal opinion on takes and acting if you want or if not I can just read and ensure that I give energy when reading to help!
I am a 24 year old actor from London and fluent in Spanish and Portuguese; I have trained at Identity School of Acting and trained at Maktub Theatre Company since summer 2019-2021 where they would train twice a week from 10-6 and devise their own shows. I have done a range of plays such as Alchemy, Ubuntu and Phoenix all of which were devised and created by the theatre company. During this time, I was able to filmed a supporting role for a BBC 3 series 'PRU' in 2021 and a commercial for EBay UK in 2020. In 2022 a scene from the play 'Ubuntu' was turned into a Short film which I co-wrote, produced and acted in alongside Josette Simon OBE.
Moreover, I have done a variety of web series which include 'Chain Reaction' on Link Up TV and 'No Comment' and done short films such as 'BLUD' for Bodyform UK. I also do spoken word ; I have performed at events such as Levile and Chill and different scratch nights.
