Jimmy Dahroug
I know how important a reader is to your audition and my goal is to do everything you need to support you. I have found my meisner training especially valuable when working as a reader.
You call the shots : if you only want to run lines, that 's completely fine. If you want feedback, or collaboration, I'm here for you. I want to make sure you're comfortable and your needs are met!
I have a growth mindset and regularly work with my own coaches, Pamela Scott and Marcus Giamatti.

Despite receiving a callback from the Actors Studio at age 19 and admissions to NYU Tisch Drama, Jimmy Dahroug did everything he could to avoid being an actor. As a first generation American, he just couldn’t find it in him to tell his dad he wanted such a “risky” career.
But before his father passed away, Jimmy learned that his dad wanted to be an actor too and was discouraged by his family. This reinforced Jimmy's dedication to his craft.
Many of his roles have put Jimmy on both sides of the interrogation table - what better way is there to practice empathy than stepping into the circumstances of your character? Drawn to the seemingly contradictory relationship between logic and instinct, Jimmy sees acting as a means to bridge the two in order to breathe life into each part.
Jimmy trained at the T. Schreiber studio in Manhattan. Dedicated to a growth mindset, he regularly works with private coaches Pamela Scott and Marcus Giamatti.
