I love working and collaborating with other actors. I am a long-time member of We Make Movies - a film collaborative in Hollywood, and Tuesdays@9LA, a writing salon, where I have shared many shorts, features, and other written pieces - both as an actor and a writer. To my own surprise, I have become a filmmaker - taking a project from the written page through completion, including writing, producing, storyboarding, directing, editing, and post-production. Learning the perspective of these jobs truly infuses how I am as an actor, and how I engage with other actors. It is enlightening to discover your role as part of the collaboration as a whole, giving you a window into what is really important in a performance - and what definitely is not. I'd love to help you bring out your uniqueness while giving the director what he/she needs from the character in the scene you are reading! The one and only thing you need to bring to the table is HONESTY!
