Hayley Jayne Standing mostly recently worked on Katherine Parkinson’s debut play SITTING at the Arcola Theatre/Edinburgh Festival and previously worked on Mike Leigh's film PETERLOO.
She played Mrs Patmore’s niece, Lucy, in the final series of DOWNTON ABBEY and other TV work includes: MAN DOWN, I WANT MY WIFE BACK, GIVE OUT GIRLS, HOMETIME, CORONATION STREET, NEW TRICKS.
In theatre she has worked at Shakespeare’s Globe, in the West End and at many regional theatres. Hayley also writes and performs comedy and has taken her one woman shows to the Edinburgh Fringe, Manchester Fringe and the Leicester Square Theatre.
Hayley trained at Manchester Met School of Theatre.
