Hamish Davies

Hello!

My name is Hamish and I'm an actor from Auckland, New Zealand. I graduated the full time conservatory at Atlantic Acting School in NYC in 2020 and have since worked in children's theatre and recently on South Pacific Pictures' Shortland Street.
I love both stage and screen work and enjoy pulling apart a script to ensure I'm making sense of the intentions of the work. I really enjoy the dark comedy genre and I think it's mainly from growing up watching dry British comedies and reading Roald Dahl's twisted fairytales. I have been taking various stage and screen workshops this year with industry professionals in New Zealand, Australia and the US and have loved practising working on camera.
As someone that has grown up doing musical theatre, I have also found success in being able to access the whole body for work. I look forward to working with you!
