Hello!
I'm an actor, director and educator based out of NY with over 20 years experience in film and theater. I studied Meisner technique with William Esper in NYC, have an MFA in Theatre Pedagogy and have training in various forms including screen acting, physical theater, classical theater and improvisation. I have been teaching at the university level and coaching adults for about 15 years. I currently teach for a college in upstate NY from beginners to advanced, from Shakespeare to Acting for the Screen and love coaching actors for auditions and working on scenes.

As an award-winning film director, writer and producer as well as an actor, I'm able to quickly analyze text for clues that will help you unlock your character, objectives and what to focus on for your audition. I can adjust to what you need and want out of the session - if you need to work something, I'm here to support and if you just need a reader, I'll give my all as a fellow actor. You take the lead and I'll follow.
My teaching and coaching style is very supportive, looking to the positive choices you are making, aiming to bring the very best of your unique self to the role, but also able to bring insights and give some thoughts or ideas for trying different things. I believe in getting actors to have a sense of fun and play and that when they are relaxed and engaged, they truly shine and get noticed by CDs and directors. I love to engage with actors and give my all to their energy!
My film credits include My Date with Adam (2013) which I wrote, produced and directed and received multiple awards, The Dark Knight Rises, Abduction, Monongahela (2017) and Roses Are Red (2012). Other stage credits also include off-off Broadway and regionally at theatres such as Saratoga Shakespeare Company, Capital Rep, Northeast Theatre Ensemble, Ensemble Studio Theater, 29th Street Rep, Vital Theater, Pittsburgh Playhouse, and City Theatre.
