David S. Hogan
Professional actor. Professional coach. Roots in the theatre, and rather talented with Shakespeare. With eye for detail, truth, and the technical aspects of on-camera acting, I am ready to give this thing a whirl, and am starting my WeAudition.com reader journey by offering free sessions. But, of course, happily accepting tips.
Dog lover. Foodie. Seattle-ite.
David is an actor, producer, coach, and director living in Seattle, WA. He started his acting career on the stage in 2000.
David holds a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from Seattle University, where he also minored in Music and Psychology. During his time at SU, he found his passion for performance first while singing with the university's choir, where he excelled as a baritone section leader, and then with the acting department, where he studied the foundations of acting, mask, and Shakespeare. His first role was the Street Singer in The Threepenny Opera, which allowed him to close the show singing The Ballad of Mack the Knife.
In 2011, after pounding the boards for a good 10 years, David signed with TCM Models & Talent, and his on-camera acting journey began in earnest. Since then, he has worked frequently in the medium, booking roles in film, TV, commercials, and corporate videos.
David is also a producer and educator, and his feature directorial debut releases in the fall of 2020.
When he's not pursing acting work, you will find him spending time with the loves of his life, his wife, Angela, and their dog, Bruno, who looks a lot like Toto.
