happy to help with british accents, london and south east england especially (my native accent is london) - i could do with a lot of help brushing up my accents, especially american ones! i cannot stand hearing people doing bad accents - and americans (or whoever!) doing bad british accents are particularly grating to me (eg any of the fake english accents in, "frasier", don cheadle in, "oceans 11"). but some americans (or whoever!) do get it perfect - eg james marsters as spike, in, "buffy the vampire slayer", perfect. i thought he was english (but with a slight transatlantic twang, which you'd expect from someone english who's lived in america for the last couple of hundred years!). so, getting it right is possible!
i've been in the entertainment industry, on and off, for over 25 years. i've not become a household name but i like to think i know what a good performance is. my foundation in learning acting was with the lee strasberg institute when they were based in london. i love film and theatre, and some tv.
i am honest, and sometimes a little tactless in my choice of words, but i always mean well and want the best. i like to encourage people to be their best, so i won't fob you off and tell you you're great if i think you're not, but i will try and find the most constructive way to say it! i appreciate the same in kind; i'm not afraid of critique, but, like you, i'm probably still quite sensitive! i want to be perfect, and i want to help you be perfect, too.
