Carolina Queiroz Couto

Carolina Queiroz has played a variety of major roles on stage, ranging from Cordelia in Shakespeare's "King Lear" to Emily Webb in Thornton Wilder's "Our Town" to even Evelyn in Neil LaBute's "The Shape of Things." Carolina is currently pursuing her Master in Acting at LSU. She was selected from a pool of over a thousand actors to be a part of the ensemble of 7 actors at LSU's MFA Acting program. From Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Carolina loves dancing and meeting new people. As a reader, she hopes to adjust to the needs of the actor requesting her services, and she's happy to do as many times as needed. You only need to tell her how you would like to get your audition done, and she will take the note. However, if you do need some help, she's happy to put on her director/acting teacher/dramaturg hat and help lead you to make strong choices for your audition. She is happy to help in any way she can.

Carolina is from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and she has just graduated from college in the US with a degree in Theatre and Philosophy. She loves theatre but also enjoys doing short films. She loves to dance samba, salsa, and bachata in her free time. She also enjoys reading different plays and getting to know people. She is a native Portuguese speaker, fluent in English, and intermediate Spanish.
