Hi there!
My name is Cameron, and I am from New Zealand.
I have been acting now for ten years. I began training at a prestigious drama school in Australasia, called Toi Whakaari. Our focus was on making and devising theatre using traditional forms; mask, mime, commedia dell'arte. After training, I moved to Los Angeles where I extended my training at the Stella Adler Academy, and Michael Laskin Studio.
I was lucky enough to be cast as a supporting lead in the Dolly Parton biopic; Dolly Partons Christmas Of Many Colors, which took me to the Emmy's in 2017 for best TV Movie. As well as that, my work includes; a lead role on a prime time hospital drama (Shortland Street), supporting roles in three other TV films (Nancy Wake, Passion in Paradise, A Love Yarn), and a lead in an independent film (I Heard Sarah).
I also created my own solo show for the Hollywood Fringe festival in 2017, HIGH RISE, which went on to win an audience choice award, and encore producers award. I am now touring this show back in NZ.
I enjoy theatre, making theatre, and reading. Artists that inspire me are Pina Bausch, David Lynch, and Martin Scorsese.
I have extensive voice and accent training. My General American accent is flawless, and I can also offer; Standard RP (British), Irish, Australian, Southern American, and New York accents for reads.
As an actor, I know how important a good reader is. So I will give you 110% each read and ensure you get the best performance with support from me as your reader.
