Becca Carter Freeman

Becca Carter Freeman is known for How the Moon Fell from the Sky and No One Even Noticed (2018), Redemption Day (2022) and Night Drive (2020). In addition, she has worked under the direction of Anne Bogart, at the Interlochen Shakespeare Festival, and at the Boston Lyric Opera. Her play "Where Do Peaches Grow?" is the recent recipient of the National Undergraduate Playwriting Award from the Kennedy Center.

Becca Carter Freeman is a multidisciplinary artist currently based in the Brooklyn, NY. Born in Atlanta, Georgia, raised in Seoul, South Korea, and living out of a suitcase ever since. She is a recent graduate of Boston University receiving her B.F.A. in Theatre Arts with a concentration in Playwriting and relevant coursework in Film, Journalism, Advertising, and Law. She is also an alumna of Interlochen Arts Academy and the Atlantic Acting School. Recently her play, Where Do Peaches Grow? was the recipient of the Kennedy Center’s National Undergraduate Playwriting Award. In addition, she has worked under the direction of Anne Bogart, at the Interlochen Shakespeare Festival, and at the Boston Lyric Opera.

When she is not working, Becca is boxing, bartending, and bouncing around in her blue car.
