I've been acting as a reader for other actor friends for the past 3 years or so (as needed). I believe that the role of the reader is to truly support the actor - it is YOUR audition and I want to support YOU and give you something to work off of, but also erring toward the neutral-side so the self-tape really showcases YOU and your reader doesn't become a distraction. I'm open to feedback if you want something more, less or different from me and I'm also willing to provide you with feedback, but only if asked. As we all know acting is a very vulnerable activity and I will never give feedback that is unasked for - you may not want my opinion and that's totally fine! We've all got our own process and I'm here to support and work with YOU.
AMY ZUBIETA is an indie film actress, known for her dramatic work in many thrillers, including ‘The Night House‘ (directed by David Bruckner; starring Rebecca Hall) ‘Walk Away,’ ‘Dig,’ ‘Alone,’ and ‘Halloween Inferno Part II.’ In addition to ‘The Burned Over District,’ she has more cult/thriller films coming up: ‘The Abaddon Pit,’ ‘Mark of the Werebeard,’ and ‘Hello, It’s Me.’ The web-series, ‘Lost & Found,’ which she co-created, co-wrote and starred in will be released in 2022.
