Hi! I'm Alicia Love Read, a Canadian/American actor living and working in Vancouver, Canada. I know what its like to be handed a huge audition with a 24-hour turnaround, and average 5 - 6 auditions per week. It can be so overwhelming!
I'm a classically trained performer, and will give you as little or as much as you need for your read. As the co-founder of ALCHEMY Actor's Studio in Vancouver, I'm also happy to throw in some adjustments/coaching! Extensively skilled in accents including Southern, Brooklyn, Yonkers, British (received pronunciation), Russian, French.

Canadian/American actress Alicia Love Read was born on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada. She is of mixed-European descent. Alicia made her television debut in 1982 as a recurring guest on her parent's CHEK TV television show, Foufouli. She is a descendant of centuries of artists - from musical entertainers in Queen Victoria's court to circus performers in Egypt - and grew up acting, dancing and playing music. Upon graduating in the late '90's from esteemed Vancouver-based Gastown Actor's Studio, she joined the cast of Savage God's The Shakespeare Project. With the arrival of her daughter, she paused her acting career to spend almost two decades channeling her creativity as an innovator in the billion dollar beauty industry, leading independent brands to global presence and acquisition status. She kept her flow of creativity satisfied by developing original works that won her a ticket to the Banff Media Festival as a "pitcher extraordinaire", and as a voice over artist and podcast host (reaching the Apple Top 100 Self-Help Podcasts in her launch week). In 2022 she returned to her first professional love, storytelling, and has been steadily acting in independent films while in development with multiple projects as partner at Perfect 7 Pictures. Based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Alicia is represented by Lucas Talent, Inc.
