Richard "RichRel" Reliford

Hello.

Richard John Reliford (aka RichRel) is an Actor, Creator, Advocate, Producer and Host. He was born in Chicago, IL and raised in the southwestern suburb, Bolingbrook, IL. He is one of 11 children in his family (7 sisters and 3 brothers). Richard has always been a scholar and entertainer. He received a full, football scholarship to the University of Akron where he received his Mechanical Polymer Engineering degree and was Freshman of the year, Academic All-MAC, team captain, 4 year letter-man, member off NCAA SAAC, National Football Foundation honoree and NFL prospect.

He had his first experience acting in 2000 while performing a short skit with the legendary Bill Cosby at the EJ Thomas Performance Arts Hall in Akron, OH. After graduating college and realizing that football wasn't going to be his career path, Richard decided to pursue acting full time in Chicago. After relocating to Los Angeles without any real vision for where his acting could take him, Richard's career began to blossom. Richard has a versatile resume including movies, television shows, national commercials and plays. He is best known for his recurring role on the soap opera, General Hospital, a guest appearance in the ABC comedy, Happy Endings and his latest starring role in the movie, Frat Brothers.

Humanitarian Efforts The actor started the organization, "Keeping it R.E.Y.A.L" (Reaching and Encouraging Young Adult Lives), where he provided life coaching, speaking, and hosting services. He has completed and lead many to raise funds and awareness for the Clean Water Crisis though Team World Vision and has recently launched an Event, Organization and Movement called: Mission1Race.
