Hello and hola! I am Paul Vato and I am here to help with whatever you may need to book your next audition.
I have been an actor, improvisor & business owner since the 1900s. I specialize in improv and sketch comedy having studied at The Second City, iO Theater and The Annoyance Theater in Chicago, IL.
While at iO Theater I had the amazing opportunity to study with improv comedy guru and legend, Del Close, who directed me in several shows at iO.
I am a proud member of SAG-AFTRA.
I speak both English and Spanish fluently and I am studying, Italian & Russian.
I can help you in a number of ways including:
- Rehearsals

- Breaking down a script
- Fleshing out characters or stories.
- Answering questions that you might have about acting, improvisational comedy, podcasting, getting your book on Amazon and/or entrepreneurship.
I am a versatile reader and I will focus on giving you whatever you need to give an authentic and personal performance.

Paul Vato is a bilingual (English and Spanish) actor, improvisor & podcaster from Chicago, IL.
He has appeared in such hit shows as MADtv, The Sarah Silverman Show, Cedric The Entertainer Presents:, The Bold and The Beautiful, Rita Rocks, To Tell The Truth & is in the new season of Ted by Seth McFarlane on Peacock.
He appeared in The Trust opposite Nicholas Cage. The Trust stars Nicholas Cage and Elijah Wood.
He currently divides his time between LA and Las Vegas. Whenever Paul Vato is in LA you can catch him on The Pocho Hour of Power, Fridays at 3pm on 90.7 KPFK.
Paul Vato co-founded Salsation! (Comedy with a Latin Flavor!) in Chicago and BarrioSpeedwagon in LA., their hit show, Touched by an Anglo, ran in Chicago and LA for many months to critical acclaim and accolades in both cities.
Paul Vato trained at The Second City, The iO Theater, and Annoyance Theater in Chicago and had the amazing opportunity to study with improv comedy guru and legend, Del Close, who directed him in several shows at iO in Chicago.
Paul Vato produced, edited, and filmed Keep It Green with Sarah Vato and Shelley Pack, which let to Sarah and Shelley being the first talent to be hired by Planet Green on Discovery Channel for their new show The G Word.
His latest project is BAD hOMbre YOGA, a health lifestyle brand.
Paul Vato is the author of The Kama Sucia aka The Filthy Bed, a parody sex guide (available on Amazon via VATO.tv).
