At a young age Zgjim Baraliu performed at the National Theater in Kosovo (ODA) in the play “Kingdom” winning the best play performance in 2012. This fueled Zgjim’s passion for acting and left his hometown at the age of 17. His first play in the US was in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where he played Ian in “Ellis” at the Cooperative Performance Theater Company. Later, he followed training at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and was admitted to the Company of the same institution. Over the course of post graduation he numbers around seven short film and feature film projects and made his Off Broadway Debut. Zgjim’s passion for arts surpassed acting: he is a professional guitarist and singer. He also wrote a play “The House of the Missing” winning the 2nd best playwright award in Kosovo.
