Pascal Langdale
A veteran of hundreds of self tapes and in person castings as an actor, I have also read for casting director sessions (that was an eye opener!) and even helped casting directors looking for actors with the skillset required for Motion Capture for Ubisoft Toronto.
I am a seasoned professional and acting coach, always interested in what value I can offer to an international crowd. I will do my best to make every casting a fun and worthwhile experience, whether or not you book the role. If you need me to coach, I'll coach - if you need me to respect your process and step back - I'll just read and give you whatever you need.
I teach movement and voice for the "On The Mic" diploma course, I am also head of the Canadian branch of the Mocap Vaults (Mocap Workshops), and teach online courses in Psycho-Physical technique, and Laban at The Dirt Underneath acting studio in Toronto. In the UK I have taught at RADA, The Met Film School, and soon will be teaching a course at East15.
I speak with a variety of regional UK dialects and European accents, and standard American, of course. I love paying it forward and helping other actors deliver their best.
Every casting has its challenges, and you have the skillset to surmount them. I am familiar with multiple acting techniques and will always support whatever technique works for you. I will always be your cheerleader, as I know what it's like - whether you have had little to no time to work the script, or this is your second recall!
I am a born Londoner, trained at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, who made Toronto my home in 2011.
I have played supporting roles in numerous television dramas since 1999. TV and film credits include Canadian thriller "See for Me" and Jelco in " Killjoys". My first Videogame credit was Ethan Mars in Heavy Rain, (NAVGTR Nominated) and most recent mocap work includes Far Cry 6, and the voice of Bagley in Watchdogs Legion (Nominated for a Canadian Game Award). For Watchdogs I also contributed to many of the 'Play as anyone' NPC's, as actor and movement director.
2022 saw the publication of "Performing for Motion Capture" (Bloomsbury Methuen) , a book I co wrote with British Director, John Dower.
I have a specialty in physically embodied performance in all media, aspiring to total physical, psychological and emotional service to the story and the role.
