More complete bio below --
A Los Angeles native who was born curious and imaginative, Kate knew she wanted to be an actress from a very early age. Her fascination with human behavior and love of storytelling led her to pursue Psychology at Boston University, and Theatre at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. After booking work on shows like "Workaholics", and in movies like CELESTE AND JESSE FOREVER, Kate's passion for slice-of-life stories and nuanced characters, inspired her to write, direct and star in "Delivery Girl", a television pilot of her own creation. Much to her pleasant surprise, "Delivery Girl" made its debut at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival.
Since Sundance, Kate has continued to work as a screenwriter -- both for herself and for hire -- and as a coach for aspiring actors. Most recently she played the lead role in Dylan Paffe's USED CHAIR FOR SALE, which screened at Dances With Films, as well as lead roles in several theater productions, including "One Way Ticket to Oregon," "Almost, Maine," and "The Pause," the latter of which was part of 2023's New York Theater Festival. She just wrapped Ben Tedesco's dark comedy OBIT in Dubuque, Iowa (an official selection of Dances With Films) followed by a Christopher Guest-esque comedic role in the immersive theater show "Temp Cupid" at IAC in Los Angeles. In February and March of 2024, she played Jackie Kennedy in "First Ladies and the Big, White Lie" at Open Jar in NYC ... Most recently, she wrapped the titular role in "Simone," a two-hander at the 2025 Hollywood Fringe Festival, co-starring Pete Gardner of the CW's "My Crazy Ex-Girlfriend."
