Hi! I'm a London-based actor, writer, director, and facilitator, trained at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, The BRIT School, and National Youth Theatre. I’ve worked across stage and screen, with experience in physical theatre, comedy, and drama.
Do you have an important audition coming up? Need a confident, engaged reader to help you bring your best performance? I’d love to help! With my background in directing and facilitation, I can offer scene insights, help you refine choices, or just be a reliable reader to bounce off.
I can seamlessly switch between Turkish, MLE, and British accents, so if you need a scene partner with flexibility, I’ve got you covered.
Helin Ekin moved to London from Turkey as a Kurdish refugee 8 years ago. She holds a First-Class BA(Hons) from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. She thrives on bold, challenging roles and brings a sharp instinct for both naturalism and heightened performance.
Ekin trained at The BRIT School, National Youth Theatre, and Intermission Youth Theatre, with additional experience in physical theatre through GECKO Theatre. Her work spans stage and screen, including a self-written play that earned a ★★★★ review and a feature on BBC Radio London. She now holds a British Passport.
Fluent in both English and Turkish, Ekin brings versatility, precision, and a strong physical presence to every role. She is a regular at the gym, and in her spare time enjoys working out and nourishing her body which she believes is her instrument as an actor.
