Amanda Clapham

Hello!

I'm Amanda, I am an actor and graduated from Manchester School of Theatre in 2012. I have been a reader for many years now as my close friends are actors frequently working in the industry and we are always helping each other book and I really do enjoy it. So I would love to help you too!

I was a Series Regular on a UK show for 5 years and continue to book lead roles. This experience has provided me with many skills including being able to pick up 6/7 scenes a night and learn them for filming the next day. This routine taught me how to work quickly and efficiently.

I have experience in being on the other side of it too. Whilst being a Series Regular I often had to come in to read for a screen test with an actor auditioning. Seeing how decisions are made gave me great insight into the world of casting. I have also sat on the panel for Manchester School of Theatre (CDS Drama School) so if you need advice on audition speeches, let me know!

I have been teaching acting for screen for the past 4 years so if you want any advice or an outside eye on your scenes, I am happy to help. Equally, if you just want an actor to read with, I'm here to help you with whatever you need to give your best performance.
