I have been acting professionally since graduating from the prestigious Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in 2017 as well as training years before that. I have extensive experience with self tapes' due to taping for myself and my partner who is well known in the industry.
I have starred in an American Sci-Fi show for AMC as a series regular as well as various parts in drama and fantasy roles in the UK. I also have ample commercial and VO experience.
I am happy to help you with direction or I can just read for you if that is preferable. Whatever you need! We can read a scene for fun, or for an audition! Practice makes perfect.

Yazzmin Newell is a mixed race actress born and raised in London, and from a young age, she knew that she wanted to pursue a career in the performing arts.
After completing her music studies at the BRIT School and City University whilst enjoying a career as a professional Samba dancer, Yazzmin decided to take acting more seriously and began training for a degree at the prestigious Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. This allowed her to develop her craft and technique
After graduating, Yazzmin began her professional acting career in earnest. She landed a guest lead role on 'Doctors' for the BBC, followed by a part in feature film 'The Last Tree' and a guest role in 'The Irregulars' on Netflix. In 2021 Yazzmin was cast as a series regular on the hit AMC show 'Moonhaven' playing Sonda Crux. After filming Moonhaven, Yazzmin was unfortunately injured in an accident and has been recovering well over the last year. She was then cast in the hit ITV drama, Maternal.
