I have been a professional actor for over a decade working in mainstream film, television, commercials, theatre and voice work. These include The National theatre, BBC, and Netflix. I am a working actor so know what it takes to be successful in the current climate. I have helped numerous actors on their self tapes over the past few years. I began my journey through the classical route of drama school at Drama Studio London but soon found myself searching for something deeper. This has led me to seek out teachers to further study in depth in the pioneering techniques of Stanford Meisner as well as masterclasses with Kristine Landon Smith to further embrace my cultural background into the work. It is this range of experience that makes me unique as a coach.
My career began in the short film My Dad The Communist starring alongside Benedict Wong which went on to win the Audience Award at the London Film Festival. I then went onto The National Theatre stage staring in the role of Jung Sun in The Great Wave, directed by Indhu Rubasingham to critical success. Since then, I have given performances at the Royal court, Hampstead theatre and many more, working with directors such as Michael Boyd and Debbie Hannan. My leading role as Joy in I will still be whole (when you rip me in half) at the Bunker Theatre (reviews), and my self-penned one woman show Long Me at the Vaults both received critical recognition, earning me a growing reputation as a dramatic actress with great depth and flexibility.
Screen work includes Whitstable Pearl (AcornTV), and TIGTH (BBC) . I can be next seen in the recently released second series of Shadow&Bone on Netflix, and Good Chips on VirginMedia Ireland.
