I nearly failed 3rd grade for a lisp. The day my teacher read my essay, an obsession toward self-expression took its roots. I could belong with my peers in a meaningful way. It helped me stay invisible; the open interpretation of artwork comforted me. I could hide between the lines, literal or abstract. This communication method doesn't work in relationships; I learned the hard way. But I want to say what I mean now. Just not while I'm acting. Bilingual now.
