Hey actor folks,

I'm Tom. I've been in the industry for 12 years now and worked and trained as an actor in New York, Los Angeles, Toronto, Vancouver, and just recently moved across the pond to London. I was also an acting coach at Lewis Beaumander Studios in Toronto before moving to New York to complete the Terry Knickerbocker Meisner Conservatory Program.

I love acting, I love actors, and this seems like another place to connect and help support bringing the best out of fellow performers. If you're looking for someone who values play, experimenting, and honesty I'd be a good fit for you. If you need someone to read and get the job done, I'm your guy. If you're looking for someone to bounce ideas off of and try shit out, I'm definitely your guy.

I also sing and dance, so if you're looking for an outside eye for those nerve racking special skills tapes I'm happy to be that helpful hand.

Bio:

From the island of Cape Breton on the east coast of Canada, Tom is a Meisner trained actor who has worked and trained over the past 12 years in New York, Los Angeles, Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal, and now London. He’s worked in film, television, stage, immersive theatre, clown theatre, experimental theatre, musical theatre, music videos, commercials, and web series.

Some screen acting highlights include a leading role in season 2 of Backstage (Netflix, Disney Worldwide, Family Channel), Guillermo del Toro’s The Strain (FX), Mr. D (CBC), Centre Stage: On Pointe (Lifetime), and The Toll (Programmed at South by South West 2020), and the Canadian Screen Award winning web-series Ghost BFF (WhoHaHa). He’s had the pleasure of directing for the stage, short films, and music videos, and was an acting coach at Lewis Beaumander Studios in Toronto before moving to New York to complete the Terry Knickerbocker Meisner Conservatory Program.

His co-directed short film The Ultimate Showdown won Best Comedy and Best First Time Director at the Los Angelas Film Awards, and best Director (Short Film) at the New York International Film Awards.

Recent credits include the off-beat comedy Sell Yourself, and a recent tour of England in Dick Whittington & His Cat: The Pantomime as Dick Whittington.
