Tara Haight

Hey there! I’m Tara!

I have been acting for 20+ years. I’m excellent with cold reads, I’m currently a reader at Actor’s Connection and have been volunteering actively as reader for casting directors throughout NYC, giving me a unique perspective of how the CDs think and what they’re looking for in a read.

My intention is to make the actor comfortable, confident, feel supported and give the actor my best so they have a scene partner they can count on and have fun with. I want every actor to walk away from the audition knowing they nailed it.

If you feel you would like any observations or coaching during your audition, I’m happy to help, but will never offer unless you request it. Many of my friends and clients have had a blast with me both as a reader and as a second set of eyes as we discover something interesting within the text they hadn’t thought of yet. On the flip side, I welcome direction from you to serve you best and achieve your vision of your scene. And on the technical side, I have excellent, reliable internet connection via hardwired Ethernet and maintain clear steady connection on my end with all my clients.

An actor myself, I’m intermittently consistently auditioning just like you. I’ve booked roles in films, commercials, and voiceovers.
