I’m Shawn Harmon and I'd love to be your reader! I'm an active SAG-AFTRA actor in Los Angeles so I understand the pressure and awkwardness of finding a reader. I'd love to help to help you forget about that so all you have to worry about is booking that part!!!
I've lived in Los Angeles for 35years now and have worked on multiple shows such as Superstore (2021) and Family Massacre (2021). I've worked on film sets such as Beverly Hills Cop: Axel Foley(2024), Candy Cane Lane (2023), Detached (2023), and Iron Lake (2024). I've done self tapes for years at this point so I can definitely help out all levels from your first self tape to your hundredth!
I love to offer help and direction in scenes but only when asked upon for my opinion. So if you just need a reader or want some direction and coaching I'd love to help! But please communicate your needs/ideas to me and I'll do whatever it takes to get you a great self tape!!
I also love helping with rehearsals and if you need a last minute person to run lines with I am here to help!

Shawn Harmon is an actor from Phoenix, Arizona. As a kid he had a passion for racing. Shawn competed in the highest levels of American Karting with now world renowned drivers. Eventually he found himself in a JC acting class learning from Brian Patterson. With a fiery passion for filmmaking, he made the move to Los Angeles, California as a fresh out of high school 18 year old. Shawn jumped into class with Andrew Wood and signed with Firestone Talent kick-starting his career. He is currently honing in and refining his improv skills with the iconic Groundlings Theater. Over the last couple years, Shawn has been working as a SAG-AFTRA actor trying to climb the rungs of Hollywood. He's appeared in shows such as Superstore and Family Massacre, and in films such as Beverly Hills Cop: Axel Foley, Shattered, Iron Lake, Candy Cane Lane, and An Hero. In addition to his acting credits, Shawn has utilized his skills as a trained precision car driver in various projects such as Young Sheldon, American Auto, and The Accountant 2. He also has a passion for directing, writing, cinematography, and stunts and hopes to achieve those goals through his love for cinema.
