I would love to help you run your lines, rehearse and prepare sides for scenes or auditions and be a reader for your self-tapes. I can provide feedback and notes as well; however, I highly suggest you also work with a proper acting coach for your audition.
For the past 5 years, I have been based in Los Angeles where I have studied Meisner Year 1 and 2, various acting techniques, character work, the Actors Instinct and the Art of Communication (an instinctual approach inspired by Harold Guskin), dialect courses and voice, Improv, a Self Tape Master Class, The Alexander Technique and Embodying the Character using Animal Studies and ongoing classes on script analysis, scene study and sensory work.
I began acting at age 7 in plays and musicals beginning with Into the Woods, Guys and Dolls, The Good Doctor, and Romeo and Juliet. I continued doing community theatre and stage productions in high school in roles in Beauty and The Beast, Where Have All the Lightning Bugs Gone? (one act play) and Our Town. During this time I also started directing my own dramatic short films, documentaries and animated narrative films. I took a break from acting from age 18-26 and returned to acting at age 27 as an adult. I started taking on-camera classes, audition workshops, and technique courses with various coaches in Portland, Oregon, then moved to Los Angeles to further my training and career where I have been in ongoing classes for the past 4 years. I have studied several different acting techniques and audition technique with Scott Rogers Studios, an On Camera Intensive for TV/film with Don Bloomfield, Meisner Year 1 and 2 with Don Bloomfield Studios which entails character analysis, scene work, and Meisner exercises and improvisation, George Gallagher’s Actor’s Instinct episodic coaching program, dialect courses, and The Alexander Technique with Jean-Louis Rodrigue and Kristof Konrad.
