Native Finnish speaker with native-level English, trained mainly in the UK and the US, specialising in the Meisner technique, which I also teach.

I am a native Finnish speaker, currently based in Helsinki. I trained as an actress mainly in the UK and the US, specialising in the Meisner technique, which I also teach here in Finland.
Before falling in love with acting in my early 30s, I worked in many other fields, including as an equestrian and in event management. In addition to Finland, I have lived in Germany, Ireland, the UK and India. English is like a second language to me. I am also able to work in German and Swedish, although not in improvisation at the moment. I have studied French and Italian; I am familiar with basics and pronounce them well.
As an actor and a teacher I love pushing people to better performances, towards more intimate connectiong with the text and the other actor.
I also have an MA in Film Screenwriting from the University of Salford.
