Ryon is known for his roles in the 1265+ series 'Surviving The Cartel' (2022), the BET movie 'The Missing' (2022), and the award winning short 'From Under The Bridge' (2021). He was also the lead voiceover as Paul Tibetts in the National Geographic documentary 'Heroes of the Sky: The Real Mighty Eighth Air Force' (2020).
Ryon is trained in the Advance Meisner Technique with John Ruskin, Michael Myers, and Michael Laurie at the Ruskin School of Acting in Santa Monica, CA. He has also worked with Annie Grindlay and Carla Rosatti at the Annie Grindlay Studio in Hollywood, CA.
A singer/songwriter for over 25 years, Ryon has released 5 albums and performed live with his band Rival The Giant at dozens of popular Los Angeles music venues, including House of Blues, Viper Room, El Cid, The Mint, and The Roxy.
Born and raised in Oklahoma, Ryon graduated Cum Laude from Southwestern Oklahoma State University with a BA of Art and moved to Los Angeles in 2002 to tackle the City of Dreams. Prior to acting, he had a successful 20 year marketing career and was co-owner of the travel product brand, Cabeau. Now living his West LA dream, Ryon enjoys beach days, guitar playing, pints of Guinness, and his lovely ladies -- his wife Megan and his two daughters, Evely and Brya.
