Russell Russo

Russ Russo is a Film & TV actor. Trained in NYC by the same teacher to Edward Norton. Russ has appeared in numerous television and film roles including NBC’s Revolution playing John, a Rebel Hostage, opposite Mark Pellegrino (Academy Award Nominated Picture Capote, TV’s Lost, The Big Lebowski) .

Russ was cast in Ryan Phillippe’s directorial debut “Catch Hell” playing Eastern European Action Movie Director, Tim Remmit, opposite Phillippe.

In 2015, the release of the film An Act of War , which landed as a Top 10 Netflix film for most of early 2017 , in which Russ portrays an Iraq War Vet returned home suffering from PTSD alongside
Doug E Doug (Cool Runnings, The Cosby Show) Natasha Alam (True Blood, NCIS: Los Angeles) & Kiowa Gordon (AMCs Dark Winds , Sundance TV’s The Red Road, Twilight Saga). The film has garnered numerous festival wins for Russ for Best Actor.

Russ shot the pilot on a New series for James Franco based on the book “The Ultimate Evil” about the ‘Son of Sam’ murders as well as opposite the legendary Tom Sizemore ( Heat, Saving Private Ryan) in the Feature Film release 'Bad Frank' out now in Tubi .

Currently , Russ stars in the forthcoming thriller ‘ Night of Violence’ as well as the lead role in the upcoming series ‘ Chaser’ being distributed by Buffalo 8 .

Also , currently in production as writer , executive producer of the forthcoming crime thriller ‘ Caller 22’
