Robert Dukes
I am an actor, performance coach and filmmaker with a background in post production - giving me a unique angle and insight into acting, especially for screen.
If you've got an audition coming up and you want to work with someone who is passionate, who loves the process of auditioning on tape, with years of experience - reach out! It's so easy to get bogged down with the process, panicking about what people want to see - there is so much joy to be found in playing and I would love to work with you to create a layered, interesting performance that begins with you.
If you've already booked the job and want someone to bounce ideas off, run scenes, try characterisations or even run lines - please do get in touch, during this unprecedented time being able to work with someone face to face is a gift and this platform gives us that opportunity.
If I'm not online and you'd like to book me for a specific session, please do get in touch on Instagram - @mrrobertdukes.

Recent work includes "Warhol", "Frankenstein Legacy", "The Toys That Built America", "Killing Boris Johnson", The Sikh Soldier", "Lair" and a Comedy called "The Last Gentleman".
“Warhol” has been selected as part of Cinequest in California - it has two screenings as part of the festival. It's World Premiere was at Raindance Film Festival, where it was nominated for "Best Picture". It won 7 awards, including best Picture at the 35th Girona Film Festival and 3 awards at the Paris International Film Festival including Best Picture & Best Ensemble.
"The Sikh Soldier" review: https://shortfilmsmatter.com/3919/the-sikh-soldier "The acting is nothing short of spectacular, with every member of the cast breathing authenticity and depth into their characters".
"Killing Boris Johnson" screened at both Raindance Film Festival and Canne Film Festival in 2023
Appearing in 'Lair' (Ditto Films) as Detective Ron Adkin, available on Amazon Prime. The movie also stars Corey Johnson (The Bourne Franchise, Captain Phillips) and was featured in Variety at the end of 2020.
I produce my own award winning short films as I believe we need to take control of our circumstances and create our own path rather than wait for the phone to ring. My latest project was 'No Way Back', in which I play Nate Andrews - a US detective going through a mental breakdown. I was post production supervisor on this project and put together the team who worked on it.
Using my skills as an actor I have become a highly regarded executive presence coach. Working with clients in various sectors including local councils, Ofsted, RSPCA and the NHS - a pathway I didn't expect to find myself in but one that I believe has strengthened my own skillset as a performer.
