Hi, I'm Rachel! Just like you, I love acting and always want to stay up on my skills, if not learn more. I would love to help you as a reader when you are practicing, as a scene partner for your self-tape, or whatever your acting needs may be.
I have been acting for 5 years, mostly on stage. Currently, I am employed as an actress with two local companies that feature both scripted and improv performances. I have recently added film/tv to my repertoire by being a featured extra in a film trailer (volunteer) and appearing in a couple local commercials (paid).
I would prefer that any scripts (at least the part I would be reading) be kept to a PG rating. I am not comfortable with cursing, though I do not always mind if it's in the other person's lines. And I would prefer to stay away from sexually explicit content, altogether.
Just about anything else is free game! I can use a few different accents (i.e. standard British, basic Cockney, Southern, Irish, French) if that were ever needed. And I am comfortable with Shakespeare and other classic style authors, if that is what you are rehearsing, in addition to modern/contemporary styles.
