Andrew Kaplan is a late in life "accidental actor". He has taken a path less travelled and most recently has had the recurring specialty role as a craps dealer on Ozark. He was also a core lodge member on AMC's Lodge 49 for 2 seasons. You will also find Kaplan in a variety of urban rap/hiphop music videos such as "Narcs" by Lil Baby.
During CoVid, Kaplan to virtual classes from The Groundlings, Tim Phillips, James DuMont, Kimberly Graham, Judy Kain. He is a member/alumni of Sam Christensen Method, Wendy Alane Wright's Hollywood Winner's Circle and Wendy Braun's SBW group.
His early career included working in startup phases of NBC Radio at 30 Rock, HBO and The Movie Channel. After leaving HBO he built one of the first sales technology consulting firms and was an early adopter and expert in the Social Media space where he produced and hosted the first Social Media Motorsports Summit for NASCAR.
Trivia: Kaplan was a summer intern at NBC Radio at 30 Rock where he was the "N" Car driver representing the station at concerts with the highlight meeting and presenting an WNBC radio satin jacket to Bruce Springsteen backstage after his first major concert at MSG. He also helped award live on the air over $100,000 dollars worth of prizes during the "WNBC is Going to Make me Rich" promotion.
