Julian Bataclan is a Filipino-American actor and engineer.
He attended the University of Southern California where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial & Systems Engineering. This is also where he also started his journey in acting. Since 2007, Julian has been featured in commercials, television, theater, and film. His most recent project features him in the lead role in the upcoming film, “The Perfect Couple”.
The Cincinnati native was born to immigrant parents who moved from the Philippines to the U.S., giving Julian the vibrant experience of being a first-generation American. He is trilingual in English, Filipino (Tagalog), and Spanish, picking up all of these languages at different points in his life and speaking them frequently.
Julian’s early childhood was filled with quoting and imitating his favorite actors, including his childhood idol, Jim Carrey in Ace Ventura: Pet Detective. That would pave the way for him to pursue a career in the performing arts.
It was in college while studying engineering, that Julian also decided to cultivate his interest in the performing arts. Starting in January 2007, he took his first theater class with Professor Anita Dashiell-Sparks.
Currently, Julian Bataclan continues to hone his craft of acting under the direction of renowned acting coach John Kirby in Hollywood, CA.
