Kenya Williams is an award-winning actress, dancer, singer, poet, and educational advocate. As a youth, she won an NAACP Award for best performance by a youth for her role as Addaperle in The Wiz. As an adult, she has guest starred on television shows such as Moesha, The Parkers, The Shield, Touched by an Angel, and had a recurring role on Disney’s Even Stevens. In addition, to her acting credits she has been a guest speaker for the UCLA Teacher Education Program and the USC Rossier School of Education to promote social justice. Currently, Kenya is an A-G Director for LAUSD. She holds a Master’s Degree in Education from the University of California, Los Angeles. As well as a Master’s degree in Teaching and a Doctorate in Education from the University of Southern California.
