Sarah Foret

Hello, fellow story tellers. It feels like an honor to be here, with so many fellow artists working their craft.

I am based in L.A. where most of my resume comes from, besides some stages in NYC. As a former series regular, who is very familiar with the beautiful ups and downs of the business, one thing I've learned, is that hard work and discipline are the truest keys to success in our industry. Confidence is the intangible to booking and we gain confidence by being prepared!

Let's run lines, break down your character or scene(s), or get right at taping to get you BOOKED!

As precious as our time is, I am happy to follow your lead and help with whatever it takes to get results. I'm grateful to be part of your journey...let's go!

Sarah Elizabeth Foret was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to a perfusionist and a newspaper editor. Her childhood was full of moving throughout the South and East Coast primarily for her mother's work, which she credits as a main reason for her deep love of human stories and the love of connecting with different kinds of people. With her family's support, Sarah studied performing arts schools in Little Rock, Arkansas. This is where the discipline and encouragement she received from her instructors helped shape her focus to pursue a career in acting. Her training in school was rooted in theatre, where she played the lead in 'West Side Story' and 'The Children's Hour,' 'Beauty and the Beast', and 'The Fantastics' but it was creative writing and watching rehearsals every chance she got (even when she wasn't a part of them,) where she learned the most. It was no surprise to her family that at the tender age of 17, Sarah struck out on her own and moved to Los Angeles to further pursue acting. She found work in her 20's, playing quite a range of girls - from naïve teenagers, to secret sex-aholics, to unsuspecting murderers. During a run as Sophie in Erik Patterson's 'He Asked For It' at Macha Playhouse, Sarah fell in love with the stage once again. She then had the opportunity to travel to NYC for an off-off Broadway production of Shem Bitterman's 'Harm's Way' where she was met by very favorable reviews. After a decade of screen and theatre work, she paused her career to travel the country and build a family, and meet strangers with stories once more. She credits that pause from LA with giving her a more deeply authentic perspective to tell stories from and a more rounded vantage point. Now firmly replanted in her favorite city, Los Angeles, she tells stories every chance she can, while caring for her beautiful family.
